Softball Recap: Western Guilford Takes a Loss

Western Guilford fell victim to Northern Guilford and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Nighthawks, falling 18-0. The Hornets have struggled against the Nighthawks recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meeting.

Western Guilford's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Northern Guilford, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-3.

Western Guilford didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 16-1 defeat against Ragsdale on the 25th. As for Northern Guilford, they have also already played their next matchup, a 25-1 victory against Grimsley on the 25th.
