Soccer Game Preview: MacDonald vs. Cristo Rey San Jose Jesuit

The MacDonald Condor will challenge the Cristo Rey San Jose Jesuit Lions at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

MacDonald took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. Their defense stepped up to hand Eastside College Prep a 6-0 shutout.

MacDonald hit Eastside College Prep with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Noah Gonzalez (2), Pedro Pineda Rodriguez (2), Bryan Oliva, and Kush Patel.

Meanwhile, Cristo Rey San Jose Jesuit earned a 4-2 win over Lincoln on Saturday.

Cristo Rey San Jose Jesuit now has a winning record of 1-0-1. As for MacDonald, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-1-1.
