Softball Game Preview: Sullivan County Griffins vs. Sayre Sabres

The Sullivan County Griffins will square off against the Sayre Sabres at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The timing is sure in Sullivan County's favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while Sayre has been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road.

Sullivan County had been on a three-game streak of scoring at least ten runs, but Northwest Area put an end to it on Wednesday. The Griffins came up short against the Rangers, falling 10-0. The match marked the first time this season in which the Griffins were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, Sayre fell victim to Wyalusing Valley and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 11-0 to the Rams.

Sullivan County's defeat dropped their record down to 11-4. As for Sayre, their loss dropped their record down to 1-12.
