Volleyball Game Preview: Jacksonville Cardinals vs. D.H. Conley Vikings

Jacksonville hasn't had much luck against D.H. Conley recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Cardinals will square off against the Vikings at 5:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Thursday, Jacksonville came up short against South Central and fell 3-1.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 20-25, 25-15, 25-13.

Meanwhile, D.H. Conley faced Green Level in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Vikings came up short against the Gators, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Vikings have suffered since October 31, 2024.

While D.H. Conley had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-18, 25-18.

D.H. Conley's defeat dropped their record down to 18-2. As for Jacksonville, their loss dropped their record down to 6-12.

Jacksonville suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to D.H. Conley when the teams last played back in September. Can the Cardinals avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
