Hobart is 0-10 against Andrean since May of 2019 but things could change on Monday. The Brickies will venture away from home to face off against the Fighting 59ers at 5:00 p.m. Hobart is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7 runs per game this season.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Hobart's offense. They fell just short of Illiana Christian by a score of 1-0 on Thursday. The match marked the first time this season in which the Brickies were not able to get on the board.

Zach Terek was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he pitched 6.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits.

At the plate, Ben Sullivan was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one double.

Meanwhile, Andrean put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against Guerin Catholic as they made off with a 17-8 victory. The Fighting 59ers' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Andrean's win bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Hobart, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-3.

Hobart might still be hurting after the 20-3 loss they got from Andrean in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Can the Brickies avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
