Soccer Recap: South River Takes a Loss

South River was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Perth Amboy Panthers. South River were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Perth Amboy apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

South River's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4-1. As for Perth Amboy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-5-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South River will take on East Brunswick at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Perth Amboy, they will face off against Spotswood at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
