Amherst waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Omro Foxes. That's more bragging rights for the Falcons, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Lexi Wierzba paced Amherst's offense, picking up seven kills. Wierzba got some help from Kinzee Martin and her 12 assists. Martin was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Amherst's win bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Omro, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 11 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-13 record this season.

Amherst didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Winneconne on the 20th. As for Omro, they will square off against Campbellsport at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
