Football Recap: Redlands East Valley Wildcats vs. Citrus Valley Blackhawks
Redlands East Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were beaten by the Citrus Valley Blackhawks 37-0. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 574th, while the Blackhawks are ranked 230th).
Dominic Robles had an outrageously good game for Citrus Valley as he threw for 252 yards and three touchdowns while completing 73.3% of his passes. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayden Bowens, who gained 80 total yards and two touchdowns.
Redlands East Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Citrus Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 3-6.
As of now, neither Redlands East Valley nor Citrus Valley have any future games scheduled.
