It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but King City had no problem doing just that on Friday. They took their game with ease, bagging an 88-48 victory over the Pattonsburg Panthers. The Wildkats' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

It was another big night for Graham Medsker, who rushed for 303 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 9.8 yards per carry. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rushing yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Landon Carlson, who rushed for 84 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries.

The win snapped King City's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-5 record. As for Pattonsburg, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

King City will face off against Albany on Friday. Albany knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 31 points or more in their past nine matches -- so hopefully King City likes a good challenge. Pattonsburg does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
