Softball Recap: Coronado Islanders vs. Olympian Eagles
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Coronado can now relate to. They fell 3-0 to the Olympian Eagles on Tuesday. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Islanders haven't been shut out since back in March.
Coronado saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sammy Aldworth, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

With the loss, Coronado broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 11-14. As for Olympian, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 15-12-1.
Coronado does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Olympian, they will head out on the road to challenge Coastal Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Stingrays will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight.
