Softball Recap: Grand County Red Devils vs. Provo Bulldogs
Grand County's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They blew past the Provo Bulldogs 12-2. The win continues a trend for the Red Devils in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won four in a row.
Chloe Byrd was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with three runs.
