Volleyball Recap: Mountain View Comes Up Short

Mountain View was the 3-1 winner over Borah when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Mavericks fell just short of the Lions by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The Mavericks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mountain View's loss dropped their record down to 4-3-2. As for Borah, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Mountain View will venture away from home to square off against Skyview at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The game will give the Mavericks their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Borah, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Cole Valley Christian on the 23rd.
