Softball Recap: Dunbar Comes Up Short

Dunbar has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging four runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Wednesday. They lost 10-0 to the Phillips Wildcats. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Mightymen were not able to get on the board.

Dunbar dropped their record down to 6-7 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Phillips, their victory bumped their record up to 10-5.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Wildcats beat Dunbar by a score of 12-0 later that day.
