Volleyball Recap: St. Lucy's Regents vs. Los Osos Grizzlies
St. Lucy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Los Osos Grizzlies. The Regents were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Grizzlies apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2023.
The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 21-25, 25-14, 25-17.
Danika Mejico and Mya Moshrefi certainly did their best on Wednesday to avoid the loss. Mejico had 19 digs, two kills, and two kills, while Moshrefi had 19 digs.
Even though they lost, St. Lucy's kept the net locked down and finished the game with ten blocks. That's the most blocks they've managed all season.
