Football Recap: Harrison Wins Going Away Against Valley View

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Harrison had no problem doing just that on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 27-13 victory over the Valley View Blazers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Goblins.

Gavin Jones threw for 216 yards while completing 85.7% of his passes. Braden Bryant was his top target, picking up 94 receiving yards. On the ground, Eli McNutt rushed for 79 yards and two touchdowns.

Harrison now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Valley View, the defeat snapped their winning streak at eight games and leaves them with a 9-2 record.

Harrison will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Parkview at 7:00 p.m. on the 28th. Valley View does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
