Basketball Game Preview: Talawanda Brave vs. Preble Shawnee Arrows

Talawanda is headed into Saturday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Monday. They were dealt a 57-18 loss at the hands of Fairmont. The match marked the Brave's lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, Preble Shawnee played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by Mississinawa Valley and fell 69-10. The Arrows were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 31-4.

Preble Shawnee dropped their record down to 6-14 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Talawanda, their loss dropped their record down to 9-11.

Everything came up roses for Talawanda against Preble Shawnee in their previous meeting back in December of 2022, as the team secured a 65-30 win. Will Talawanda repeat their success, or does Preble Shawnee have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
