Football Recap: Sheridan Falls to Littleton in First Game of Season + How To Watch

Sheridan unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They were dealt a 49-6 defeat at the hands of the Littleton Lions on Thursday. The Rams were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-6.

Kai Durica was the offensive standout of the matchup as he rushed for 49 yards and one touchdown, and also threw for 35 yards and a pair of TDs.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sheridan will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Middle Park at 12:00 p.m. on September 13. As for Littleton, they will head out to challenge Jefferson at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
