Basketball Recap: Provo Continues Road Dominance on Friday

Provo extended their road winning streak to eight games thanks to a huge performance from Sage Yenchik. The Provo Bulldogs blew past the Orem Tigers 54-29 on Friday thanks in part to Yenchik, who went 5 for 12 en route to 21 points and eight steals. Those eight steals gave her a new career-high.

The team also got some help courtesy of Sutton Villa, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds. Villa is also crushing it when it comes to blocks: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season.

Provo's win bumped their record up to 15-2. As for Orem, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-14.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Provo will face off against Mountain View at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Provo is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 59.2 points per game this season. As for Orem, they will square off against Timpanogos at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
