Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Asheville). They blew past the Franklin Panthers 15-8 on Monday. The Cougars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by seven runs or more this season.

The win (which was Asheville's third in a row) raised their record to 11-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Franklin, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Asheville will venture away from home to square off against McDowell at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Franklin, they will head out to challenge West Henderson at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
