Volleyball Recap: Washburn Castle Guards vs. Chequamegon Screaming Eagles

Washburn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chequamegon Screaming Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Castle Guards of the 2-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Washburn was not able to win a set, but it sure wasn't from a lack of trying: every set was decided by exactly two points. The final score came out to 27-25, 28-26.
