Volleyball Recap: Glenbrook North Gets the Win

Glenbrook North won the last time they faced Maine West and things went their way on Thursday too. The Spartans skirted past the Warriors 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Spartans.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Glenbrook North who won the one that mattered. The final score came out to 25-20, 19-25, 25-22.

Luke King paced Glenbrook North's offense, picking up 13 kills. King got some help from Devin Lee and his 17 assists.

Glenbrook North's victory bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Maine West, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 19-4.

Coming up, Glenbrook North will square off against Libertyville at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Maine West, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Neuqua Valley on the 3rd.
