Soccer Game Preview: Lubbock vs. Amarillo

The Lubbock Westerners will challenge the Amarillo Sandies at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Lubbock has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the contest with three straight losses, while Amarillo will come in with six straight wins.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Lubbock's offense. They came up short against Monterey on Tuesday, falling 5-0.

Meanwhile, Amarillo kept a clean sheet against Caprock on Tuesday. They blew past the Longhorns 5-0. Amarillo might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 14 matchups by three goals or more this season.

Amarillo's victory bumped their record up to 17-1-1. As for Lubbock, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-12.
