Basketball Recap: Gavin Krogstad Key Part of a Team Effort in Tommies Win

There's no place like home for Thompson, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They strolled past the Langdon Cardinals with points to spare on Monday, taking the game 57-39.

Thompson's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Gavin Krogstad, who went 7 for 15 on his way to 17 points and five boards. Another player making a difference was Drew Odenbach, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds.

Thompson has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. As for Langdon, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-2.

When Thompson and Langdon next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Thompson will square off against Four Winds/Minnewaukan and their five-game winning streak at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Thompson is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.6 points per game this season. Similarly, Langdon will try to stop North Border co-op [Walhalla/Pembina]'s seven-game winning streak when the meet at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
