Volleyball Recap: St. Monica Academy Crusaders vs. Saugus Centurions
St. Monica Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Saugus Centurions.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-5, 25-4.
Saugus' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Gabriella Cascione, who had five aces. Another player making a difference was Isabella Grijalva, who had four digs and four aces.
St. Monica Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Saugus, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 17-1.
