Soccer Game Preview: Community vs. Battle Creek

The Community Vikings/Viqueens are taking a road trip to face off against the Battle Creek Grizzlies at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

On Friday, Community didn't have quite enough to beat Forrest and fell 3-2. Community have struggled against Forrest recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Meanwhile, Battle Creek got the win against Richland on Thursday by a conclusive 6-1. Battle Creek might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten contests by three goals or more this season.

They hit Richland with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Gio Solis (2), Charles Gray (2), William Shetler, and Christian Solis.

The win made it two in a row for Battle Creek and bumps their season record up to 10-7-1. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those two matchups. As for Community, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5-1.
