North Reading extended their home winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Emery Cordero. The Hornets won by a set and slipped past the Masconomet Regional Chieftains 3-2 with plenty of help from Cordero, who had 16 digs and two aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

North Reading was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-22, 15-25, 25-20, 15-4.

North Reading's victory bumped their record up to 16-2. As for Masconomet Regional, their defeat ended an eight-match streak of away wins and brought them to 12-8.

As of now, neither North Reading nor the Chieftains have any future games scheduled.
