Volleyball Recap: Lyons' Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Three

It was a proper cat-fight when Lyons duked it out with Joliet West on Saturday. The Lions came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 2-0. The win was nothing new for the Lions as they're now sitting on three straight.

Lyons not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Joliet West between 16 and 17 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-16.

Lyons' victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 23-8. As for Joliet West, their loss ended an eight-game streak of away wins and brought them to 22-10.

Coming up, Lyons will be taking part in a tournament against Lockport at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Joliet West, they will be playing at home against Bolingbrook at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
