Calvary Baptist Academy hasn't had much luck against Bentonville recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. Everything went their way against West Ouachita as Calvary Baptist Academy made off with a 6-0 win. Considering the Cavaliers have won nine matches by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

West Ouachita's batters probably weren't too happy with Addison Willis, who pitched a no hitter and racked up nine Ks (she gave up zero walks). That's the most strikeouts Willis has posted since back in March of 2024.
At the plate, Baylor Bockhaus was excellent, scoring two runs while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Mallory Carver, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.
Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Bentonville challenged Har-Ber on Tuesday. Bentonville blew past Har-Ber 7-1.
Darby Burnett spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on two hits and racked up ten Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run any time she's pitched this season.
On the hitting side, Bentonville let Kylee Wyman and Violet Nguyen run wild. Wyman went 3-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI, while Nguyen went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.
Bentonville pushed their record up to 3-0 with the victory, which was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.6 runs over those games. As for Calvary Baptist Academy, their win bumped their record up to 16-0.
Calvary Baptist Academy came up short against Bentonville when the teams last played back in March of 2024, falling 3-0. Can Calvary Baptist Academy avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
