Volleyball Recap: Dolores Beats Custer County for Their 14th Straight Win + How To Watch

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Dolores had no problem doing just that on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Custer County Bobcats as they made off with a 3-0 victory. Winning may never get old, but the Bears sure are getting used to it with their 14th in a row.

While Dolores won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-10, 25-22.

Dolores found their leader in freshman Layla Mitchell, who had 11 digs. Mitchell is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last six games she's played.

Dolores' win bumped their record up to 24-1. As for Custer County, with the loss, they broke their four-match winning streak and moved their record to 16-9.

Dolores wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Swink on the 13th. Custer County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
