Softball Recap: Parker Takes a Loss

Parker was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against the Mohave Accelerated Patriots, falling 16-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 23-0 back in March.

Parker's loss dropped their record down to 2-12-1. As for Mohave Accelerated, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Parker will square off against ALA - West Foothills at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. The Broncs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Guardians have averaged an impressive 9.5 runs per game this season. As for Mohave Accelerated, they will challenge Trivium Prep at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. The Crimson Knights have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 21 runs per game on average), something the Patriots will no doubt try to take advantage of.
