Volleyball Recap: St. Paul's Win on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Old Fort typically has all the answers at home, but on Wednesday St. Paul proved too difficult a challenge. They put the hurt on the Stockaders with a sharp 3-0 victory. Winning may never get old, but the Flyers sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

St. Paul never let Old Fort on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-15, 26-24.

St. Paul's offense was headlined by Ella Kalizewski and Brooklyn Cassidy, who picked up ten kills apiece. They got some help from Annie Friend and her 28 assists. Lily Cuturic controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

St. Paul's record is now 14-6. As for Old Fort, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-5.

St. Paul has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against New London on the 9th. As for Old Fort, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Elmwood on the 9th.
