After failing to score in their last game, Plainfield East made sure to put some goals up on the board against Round Lake on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 6-0 victory. Considering Plainfield East have won four contests by more than four goals this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Round Lake from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Melanie Cuahuizo-Reyes led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Plainfield East's win bumped their record up to 4-2-1. As for Round Lake, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2-2.

Coming up, Plainfield East will take on Homewood-Flossmoor in a tournament on Monday. As for Round Lake, they will venture away from home to face off against Highland Park at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Round Lake are facing Highland Park at the right time seeing as Highland Park are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
