Immaculate wins going away against New Milford

You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely the Immaculate Mustangs's strategy against the New Milford Green Wave on Monday. Immaculate blew past New Milford 69-44. The win made it back-to-back wins for Immaculate.

Several Green Wave players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Armani Checo, who scored ten points. Another player making a difference was Ryan Esposito, who almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine rebounds.

Even though they lost, New Milford were working as a unit and finished the game with ten assists. This was only their tenth loss (out of 13 games) when they've passed the ball that well.

Immaculate pushed their record up to 9-9 with that win, which was their third straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.0 points per game. As for New Milford, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-15.
