Volleyball Recap: Oakland Christian Comes Up Short

Oakland Christian entered their contest against Gabriel Richard on Saturday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Lancers fell just short of the Fighting Irish by a score of 2-1.

Oakland Christian's loss dropped their record down to 6-2-3. As for Gabriel Richard, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3-2 record this season.

Oakland Christian will face off against Plymouth Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games the Eagles have played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Gabriel Richard, they will head out on the road to square off against Non Varsity Opponent at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
