Basketball Recap: Johnston Comes Up Short

Johnston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 93-46 loss at the hands of the Barrington Eagles. The Panthers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 45-24.

Caleb Satisfield was his usual excellent self, putting up 26 points for Barrington. Those 26 points gave Satisfield a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan Rigamonti, who posted 19 points.

Johnston's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Barrington, they pushed their record up to 8-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Johnston will face off against East Greenwich at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Barrington, they will challenge Tolman at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Barrington has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 235 points over their last three matches.
