Soccer Recap: Huntland Starts Season with Defeat at Home

Huntland unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They lost 6-3 to the Cornersville Bulldogs on Monday. Huntland were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Cornersville apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Cornersville has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Huntland will face off against Fayetteville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be Huntland's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Cornersville, they will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against Lewis County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
