Basketball Recap: Bushland Gets Big Win over Higher-Ranked Canadian

Bushland meant business on Tuesday, getting buckets from all over the court against a Wildcats squad that has allowed just 27.47 points per contest. The Bushland Falcons walked away with a 55-44 win over the Canadian Wildcats. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Falcons' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 400th, while the Wildcats are ranked 67th).

Bushland has also been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-13 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.4 points per game. As for Canadian, the loss snapped their winning streak at 29 games and leaves them with a 29-1 record.
