It was a good run, but George Washington unfortunately witnessed the end of their 11-game winning streak on Tuesday. They were dealt a 74-29 defeat at the hands of the Vista PEAK Prep Bison. The Patriots were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-20.

George Washington's loss came despite strong showings from Madisyn Honeycutt and Nala Jordan. Honeycutt posted nine points and five rebounds, while Jordan had ten points and seven boards. The dominant performance gave Jordan a new career-high in boards.

Even though they lost, George Washington smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive rebounds in three consecutive matchups.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Vista PEAK Prep to victory, but perhaps none more so than Knakai Starks, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and 15 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jade Hibbler, who shot 54% from the field on her way to 16 points and five steals.

George Washington's loss dropped their record down to 14-7. As for Vista PEAK Prep, their victory bumped their record up to 8-12.

George Washington wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 54-31 win against Kennedy on the 20th. As for Vista PEAK Prep, they have also already played their next game, a 73-31 defeat against Denver East on the 20th.
