If Shepherd was feeling good fresh off their 9-2 takedown of Standish-Sterling on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bluejays lost 8-2 to the Panthers on Wednesday. The Bluejays' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Shepherd saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Leela Engelhardt, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI.

Shepherd's defeat dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Standish-Sterling, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-5.
