Soccer Recap: CHESS Christian Has No Trouble Against Christian Academy

CHESS Christian kept a clean sheet against Christian Academy on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 8-0 win. CHESS Christian might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matchups by four goals or more this season.

Their offense was hitting Christian Academy from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Silas Kempe led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

CHESS Christian now has a winning record of 3-2-1. As for Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. CHESS Christian will challenge Mars Hill Academy at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Christian Academy, they will square off against Dominion Academy at 6:00 p.m. on October 3.
