Softball Recap: Palm Bay Takes a Loss

Palm Bay lost against Titusville back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Pirates came up short against the Terriers, falling 21-1. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Palm Bay saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Emily Hewitt, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base.

Palm Bay's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Titusville, their win ended an eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-12.

Palm Bay has already played their next contest, a 20-7 defeat against Calvary Chapel Academy on the 17th. As for Titusville, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 18-1 loss against Merritt Island on the 17th.
