Softball Recap: Fostoria Comes Up Short

Fostoria lost against Lake back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Redmen lost 16-2 to the Flyers. The Redmen have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lilliana Bernal made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Fostoria's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Lake, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Fostoria is set to challenge their familiar foe Eastwood at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Lake will square off against rival Genoa Area at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
