Volleyball Game Preview: Arp Tigers vs. Tatum Eagles

Arp hasn't had much luck against Tatum recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Tigers will be playing at home against the Eagles at 4:30 p.m.

Arp lost 3-0 to White Oak on Tuesday.

Arp took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-18, 25-20.

Despite the loss, Arp had strong showings from Emma Nugent, who had 17 assists and 16 digs, and Emma Harris, who had 12 digs. Nugent has been hot recently, having posted 16 or more digs the last three times she's played.

Meanwhile, Tatum waltzed into their match on Tuesday with 29 straight wins... but they left with 30. They put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 3-0 win.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Tatum took every set by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-14, 28-17.

Arp's defeat dropped their record down to 21-23. As for Tatum, their victory bumped their record up to 34-3.
