Brooks had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Lexington Golden Bears an 8-0 shutout on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won 12 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Brooks' win bumped their record up to 21-9. As for Lexington, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-21.
