Basketball Game Preview: Charleston Catholic Irish vs. Logan Wildcats

The Charleston Catholic Irish will face off against the Logan Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Last Friday, Charleston Catholic didn't have too much trouble with Buffalo as they won 65-51.

Meanwhile, Logan strolled past Buffalo with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 70-52. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' West Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 20th, while the Bison are ranked 80th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory made it two in a row for Logan and bumps their season record up to 11-3. As for Charleston Catholic, the win got them back to even at 7-7.
