Chenango Forks scored the most points they've had this season on Saturday, but it wasn't enough. They lost 84-62 to the Seton Catholic Central Saints. The defeat continues a trend for the Blue Devils in their matchups with the Saints: they've now lost three in a row.

Despite the loss, Chenango Forks still got an impressive performance from Ethan Vaseleck, who went 8 of 10 on his way to 22 points along with five boards and five blocks. Those five blocks gave Vaseleck a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Brady Vaseleck, who posted 11 points.

Even though they lost, Chenango Forks was working as a unit and finished the game with 20 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Allan Eagles was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 32 points and 14 boards for Seton Catholic Central. Eagles is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down ten or more in the last three games he's played. Liam Kozel was another key player, putting up 12 points and three steals.

Chenango Forks' loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Seton Catholic Central, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chenango Forks will head out to challenge Owego Free Academy at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Seton Catholic Central, they will venture away from home to take on Waverly at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
