Basketball Recap: Hallandale Comes Up Short

After flying high against Pompano Beach last Tuesday, Hallandale came back down to earth. The Hallandale Chargers came up short against the Chaminade-Madonna Lions on Thursday, falling 53-31. The Chargers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2016.

Hallandale's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Chaminade-Madonna, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-7.

Hallandale and Key West will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. Chaminade-Madonna has already played their next match (against McArthur), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
