Baseball Recap: Frederick Golden Eagles vs. Thompson Valley Eagles
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mountain Range, Frederick was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They walked away with a 5-2 win over the Thompson Valley Eagles. The Golden Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.
Zaiah Jones was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Jones was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. Those two hits gave him a new career-high.
