Softball Recap: Freeman Comes Up Short

Freeman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 12-2 to the Fort Bend Hightower Hurricanes. That's two games in a row now that the Golden Eagles have lost by exactly ten runs.

Freeman's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Fort Bend Hightower, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, Freeman will be taking part in a tournament against George Ranch at 9:30 a.m. on Friday. As for Fort Bend Hightower, they will take on Iowa Colony in a tournament on Friday.
