Baseball Recap: Ranchview Comes Up Short

Ranchview's tournament run continued when they took on Alvarado on Thursday. The Ranchview Wolves lost 9-1 to the Alvarado Indians. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ranchview saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jack Samford, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base. Miki Mizuno also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Ranchview now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Alvarado, their win bumped their record up to an identical 3-4.

Looking ahead, Ranchview will be taking part in a tournament against Ferris at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Alvarado, they will take on Diamond Hill-Jarvis in a tournament on Saturday.
